OUR LEAGUES

The Wolfville Curling Club offers many leagues that cater to a wide range of skill levels and interests.

 

• Social leagues offer a relaxed curling environment while teaching game rules, etiquette & strategy.
• Competitive leagues feature teams playing in games of high-level strategy and shot-making.
• Curling is a social activity as well! After each game, teams head to the lounge to chat and quench their thirst.

 

We have the following Leagues and Events which happen throughout the Curling Season.

 

Commercial League - Sunday

A great introduction to curling, offering a chance to dabble in this great game, while also acting as a stepping stone to others who might be thinking of becoming regular club members. The right balance of competition and socialization while having lots of fun doing it!

 

Competitive Curling - Monday Evening

Our competitive league is open to all members. A competitive game with a very social atmosphere. Team entries are the norm, but there may be teams looking to fill spots, so individual registrations are welcome. Games may occasionally run on Tuesday evening.

 

Fun Curling - Wednesday/Thursday Evening

Our fun curling league is open to all members. The season consists of three 7 week schedules throughout the season. Teams are determined by who has signed up, balancing the ability and skill of each team. This is a great place for beginners to learn from more experienced players.

 

Friday Night Social Curling - Friday Evening

Our Friday night social league is open to all members. Teams made up each week, fun prizes to win! This is a great place for everyone to have lots of fun!

 

Seniors Curling - Monday/Wednesday/Friday Morning

Social curling for Seniors! Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.

 

Stick Curling - Tuesday/Wednesday Afternoon

Two-person stick curling for men and women wishing to continue to curl when they can no longer curl in a regular league due to physical limitations. Valley League - Thursday Afternoon

The Annapolis Valley League, with teams from all the clubs found in the valley.

 

Women's Curling - Thursday Morning

Our women's only league welcomes all ages and skill levels. A great way to develop your skills, socialize and enjoy curling on a recreational basis.
