  • Memorial 2023 Results

It was a busy weekend at WCC Dec 1-2 with the playing of the Memorial Bonspiel. Twelve teams competed representing all of the leagues, the Seniors, Thursday Morning Women, the Commercial League, Stick Curlers and friends. We honoured four former members of WCC who passed away in the last year, including Garry McIvor, Alden Profitt, Hubert Sullivan and Dr. David Crowe. For each member we delivered a ceremonial rock after a moment of silence.

Competition was fierce and friendly, lots of laughs, maybe a few beers. We enjoyed lunch together in the newly renovated upstairs lounge. At the end, after some close calls, Team Price (our President Joe) with Carla Price, Zack and Anne Frail were victorius.
