Our volunteer instructors will teach you the basics of curling and the safety procedures needed to play the sport.
Learn to Curl Sessions
We’re continuing our single night Learn to Curl sessions. Come get an introduction to the sport and throw a few rocks with our experienced instructors. You’ll learn how to send a rock down the ice, sweep (hurry hard!!) and we hope to convince you to join up for the season!
Know someone who’s curious? It’s drop in, so you don’t need to sign up in advance!
– October 20 and 21, 2026: 7 pm to 9pm: Learn to Curl – Hack curling focused
– October 22, 2026: 7 pm to 9 pm: Learn to Curl – Stick curling focused. We will also have hack curling for those that can’t make the other two nights.
Curling equipment is provided
What to wear and bring:
– Footwear: Clean indoor sneakers or shoes. Please carry them with you and change into them at the club.
– Clothing: Warm clothes you can move easily in, such as track pants, a sweater, a hat, and gloves. A helmet is optional for adults, but we do recommend bringing one.

Learners League
For those who are looking for a longer learning opportunity: We’re debuting a new “Learner’s League”, for adult curlers just starting out, at 7 pm on Tuesdays until the holiday break. We’re planning to start on October 27th.
This gives an opportunity to learn, with lessons and support to get from “never been on the ice” to “ready to play in a league”.
Curling equipment is provided – all you need to bring are warm clothes and clean running shoes (if possible, bring a clean pair to the club and change into them).
