Our Leagues

The Wolfville Curling Club offers many leagues that cater to a wide range of skill levels and interests.

  • Social leagues offer a relaxed curling environment while teaching game rules & strategyetiquette & safety.
  • Competitive leagues feature teams playing in games of high-level strategy and shot-making.
  • Curling is a social activity as well! After each game, teams head to the lounge to chat and drink.

Daytime Leagues

Morning Curling

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Time: 9:30 AM
Format: Drop-in

Drop-in curling open to all members. Arrive by 9:15 and place your name in the appropriate cup (skip, 3rd, 2nd, lead, or “Anywhere”). Teams are made up each day from those present.

Tuesday Stick Curling

Day: Tuesday
Times: 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM
Format: Registered

Two-person stick curling for curlers of all ages who may have physical limitations in curling from the hack. Registration required. A form is sent to all registered players each Saturday to register for the following Tuesday (indicate your preferred partner). A schedule is sent on Saturday showing your partner and game times.

Wednesday Stick Curling – Competitive

Day: Wednesday
Times: 1 PM & 2 PM
Format: Competitive

Two-person stick curling is one of the fastest growing sports in Canada. For those who wish to use a stick device instead of the traditional method of crouching in the hack, this one-hour game with limited sweeping is for you! The competitive league has 2 draws at 1 PM and 2 PM.

Women’s Curling

Day: Thursday
Time: Morning
Format: Social

A women’s only league welcoming all ages and skill levels. A great way to develop your skills, socialize, and enjoy curling on a recreational basis.

Valley League

Day: Thursday
Time: Afternoon
Format: Competitive

The Annapolis Valley League includes teams from multiple valley clubs throughout the region.


Evening Leagues

Monday Competitive

Day: Monday
Time: 7 PM
Format: Competitive

Our competitive league is open to all members. A competitive game with a very social atmosphere. Team entries are the norm, but individual registrations are welcome if teams are looking to fill spots.

Tuesday Learner’s League

Day: Tuesday
Time: 7 PM
Format: Learner

Perfect for those new to curling. The season consists of three 7-week schedules throughout the season. Teams are determined by who has signed up, with abilities and skill balanced across teams. A great place for beginners to learn from more experienced players while enjoying the game in a relaxed environment.

Tuesday 6 End Games

Day: Tuesday
Time: 9 PM
Format: Social

A 6-end league for all skill levels. Teams are formed based on registrations with skill-balanced groupings. Enjoy a shorter format game in a social atmosphere.

Wednesday Social – Team/Individual

Day: Wednesday
Time: 7 PM
Format: Social

Our fun curling league is open to all members. The season consists of 2–3 sessions throughout the season. Flexible format for team or individual registration with skill-balanced teams. A great place for all curlers to enjoy the social side of the sport.

Thursday Social – Individual

Day: Thursday
Time: 7 PM
Format: Social

Social curling for individual players. The season consists of 2–3 sessions throughout the season. Teams are formed by skill level, creating a welcoming environment for all ability levels.

Friday Social

Day: Friday
Time: 7 PM
Format: Drop-in

A fun hangout for 4-end games. Drop in and play with local friends! Free for members; guests welcome for a sparing fee. A great way to enjoy the social aspect of curling.
